alone but not lonely.

As I sit at dinner by myself i cant help but wonder, "im not lonely. No. Im alone but so happy to be so." saturdays mark the end of a week for me and i have to say by the end of the week im ready to be alone and listen. The rush of people's voices behind me make me all kinds of relaxed and relieved that im doing somethong for me. This is not the first time that ive sat alone and had a meal to myself. I find it hard to pick a place (different from the place i am) and enjpy myself as much as i do. Infact, im starting to look forward to saturdays for the blatant fact that im alone and eating a meal so pure and eccentric. (not to mention its the end of the week for me.)

i sit at the bar wondering what people around me are eating and what they're thinking of the lone girl sitting at the bar. Dont pity me. Im loving this.

Im waiting for my mahi mahi which is accompainied by poblano peppers and a curry sauce with also green beans which im assuming is the cut for the heat. :) Yum! All of this dish, after a perfectly cooked grilled scallops starter.

God i love food. :)

Well, hello there strangers. How has everyone been? Enjoying fall I hope? Talk about a fun summer for me. Anyone do any traveling?

I don't have much to write about tonight. Kind of winging it.

Definitely falling back in love with Johnny. Surprised? No, probably not.
I started running again. Now THAT i was surprised about. My knees are actually feeling good too. :)
I ran a full mile, without stopping, in my first attempt at running again. BOOYAH!
I'm getting my life back on track. Been feeling a little spirally lately. Not to be worried, I can recognize these things.


So what is everyone's top priority in life?

Family?
Career?
Friends?
Pets?

No right or wrong answer, just curious...


I've been reading my horoscope tons lately. Love hearing any advice even if the person writing them is only rolling with it for the $$.

Well, it happened again. I went RED. Surprised?! I didn't think so.

It's the end of summer. WAHHH WAHHHHHHHHH. drag, I know. :/
On the brighter side of life, who's excited for fall all you midwestern-ers?! I know I can't wait to see all those pretty colors! Just getting more and more pumped every day! The fashion, the movies, the tv, the holidays! I can't wait for every part of fall! :)

Did anyone see any great summer movies this year? I JUST saw Captain America! I have to tell ya, I think it was my favorite super hero story! I love all underdog stories, but this one was just a TRUE underdog story. I loved every minute of it. (Including the hair, make-up, etc.) :D Not to mention Mr. Evans looked pretty okay. ;)



So! anyone have any good Halloween ideas? I'm thinking about something a little more subtle this year. I know, I know. LAME. But I'll make it a good one. Don't you worry. ;)

I'm off tho! Into the whole pin-up 1940's look from Captain America so I'm curling the ole mop tonight for the first time in over 6 months. :D YAYYYY!! hair!!

I have to say, I was always a Penelope fan. Since the first time I saw her I couldn't stop thinking that she is GORGEOUS!

Then Ms. Sofia Vergara came on the scene. Well, she was on the scene for a while but she became extremely popular due to the show Modern Family.

If it came down to it. I'de say I'm Team Sofia. :) I have legit reasons. She had cancer. Would you know it? Not really. She actually makes fun of it if you wanna call it that. She knows how to make life funny. We all wish we could be a bit more like that right?

What's the opinion?!

SO I'm still sticking to long hair. It's getting there and I'm finding it hard to keep it when I'm at work. Then I come home and say, "what was I thinking?!" i can't cut this off anymore!!!

Debating in your own head is a challenge. I'm easily persuaded. Shoot me.

I recently came to see a person from my past and really got a glimpse of a feeling that I haven't felt in a while.

No, it wasn't love. Instead, just genuine connection. I don't think I have been stimulated like that in a REALLY long time. Especially sober. I talk to a lot of people through out my day and it was nice to have a real conversation, about the real world, with some one that I felt was being sincere and open to any thought that came out of our mouths. Quality conversation.

I hate to say it but so many times through my day I feel like I just "uh-huh" the person talking and don't have much to contribute to their thoughts. Not that they're not interesting. I wouldn't call it that. I just feel like it's the same crap over and over and over again. If I don't have some "juicy gossip" to spill to these people we just himandhaw over our conversation.

Does anyone else feel like they're just floating through life sometimes, just waiting for someone to say something fun?

It's almost the WEEKENDD!!!! I'm pretty pumped! dad got a new boat!! :D I can't wait to get my tan on!!! :)

Hello, old friend.

It's been a while! I thought it would be good to update a TAD on my life. It's about time.

SO! Tons of people are home from school. Seems like it's for good too. I really can't complain. I've had about 3 years of bliss. Now don't judge. If you saw my news feed when the end of May hit, you would be WAY EXCITED (sarcasm) to possibly run into some of these people. Well, hey no one is holding a gun to your head! You can leave these suburbs and go FAR FAR away. Not sayin', just sayin'.

On a lighter note, I had a HUGE weekend! Not in a good way, I was actually sick. But I was so bored that I'm actually EXCITED to go back to work! YAYYYY!!! :D I bet my boss is excited too!

Don't worry, I'm getting to the picture. If you can't tell, it's emma watson. I saw this picture in a magazine (i think) and couldnt believe how stunning she looked! Take a girls hair away and WHOA! she's fabulous. Right? So, I might cut my hair like that... Surprise, surprise. I don't know who this photographer is, but they had a great eye. She looks incredible.

Vacation is right around the corner! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT! I couldn't believe when June hit! Doesn't time fly? When the hair flies! HAHA! Anyone going on any fun trips? I know I am! Up north is for me! My dad is actually considering a new "house" this summer. And by house I mean boat. And by boat I mean an enormous YACHT! haha! It's a tad exaggeration but I'm pumped never the less! If he buys this boat, which the odds are looking great, I'll be purchasing a wakeboard as a fun new addition for it! :D

Me and the boyfriend are going up together and I have to say this is a great place for him to go. He's very Irish and pale so the mild temperatures will be right up his alley I think. I don't think we've ever been on a family vacation yet, either. Hmm... very interesting.

Okay, someone explain it to me!! Why is Ke$ha okay with looking like a hobo? Or a trash bag? I get it, you want to try something different, but it's not really great. Try something else. Scary..

On that note, I think I'll watch a movie. I rented Red Riding Hood. Anyone? Anyone? Thoughts?

I have to say, work has been fabulous! Lots of fun things! Lots of people wanting to try new things they've never had before. :D Makes my job super fun and super busy!

If you were wondering, I haven't forgotten about my blog. I just didn't really want to talk about anything. Winter blues. Not a fun time in life. So I decided to skip blogging whenever i wanted. I'm actually kicking myself. I watched one of my favorite shows last night and they were snowboarding. I was mad. I didn't get to go at all this past year. I'm hoping to get out this next year. This could be the last, after all! (2012) I don't really believe in that crap so much, but you never know! Life is too short anyways!

So! As you can tell, I am blonde again! AGAIN! I know, surprise! surprise!! Haha! I actually feel quite chEEry again! :D

You dig? So that's all I have for now. Besides Vegetarian is great! I'm loving it! :)
